Las Vegas is a very popular location for vacations, conventions, sporting events, and more, bringing millions of visitors to the city. There are no shortages of places to stay- Las Vegas Boulevard is littered with mega-resorts. However, these popular resorts are not the best fit for every traveler out there. 

If you are looking for a clean, quiet, luxury-feel with lots of amenities, I have just the spot. The JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort is located in the Summerlin area, known for its golf and shopping, is located around 10 miles from the Las Vegas Strip. This quiet location is ideal for travelers that need to stay close to downtown, but want to be out of the hustle and bustle of the busy city. There is no shortage of activities to do, both in the resort and in the surrounding area. 

The resort has a variety of room types to choose from, starting with a standard king or double queen room all the way up to deluxe suites. The hotel is also equipped with several luxurious amenities, including a zen garden walking path with nature swings, a golf course, a hot tub and pool, a spa, casino, fitness center, and several restaurants and dining options to choose from. 

This resort also has meeting spaces, perfect for any large gathering, such as corporate events, wedding receptions, and conventions. The grounds are beautiful, and there are indoor and outdoor meeting spaces available for use. 

The pool is more like an actual waterpark, with complimentary beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels. They even have a lifeguard on duty! The pool is massive and there is plenty of room to spread out and have a good time. There’s even a mini-waterfall, with water splashing off of the rock features near the pool. 

There are plenty of restaurant options to choose from. My personal favorite is The Earl Gray, which is open 24 hours and has numerous breakfast, lunch, and dinner specials. There are several other dining options, including room service, and you never need to leave the resort to grab a bite to eat. Rooms are equipped with a fridge and microwave, so you can also take leftovers to go. 

Overall, this resort is an absolute dream. It’s the perfect location for people who want a nice place to stay off of the Las Vegas Strip to escape the craziness that is Las Vegas. This is one of the nicest resorts I’ve ever stayed in, and that’s saying a lot.
